There have been a number of surveys done in recent years, some on blogs and some by national wedding organisations. One blog I read recently placed not having a wedding video as the number four regret on a list of Top 10 Wedding Regrets. 

Recently, the international Wedding & Event Videography Association (WEVA) commissioned a survey that discovered only a quarter of brides considered a professional wedding video as important before their wedding. However afterwards, nearly two-thirds of those who did not have a wedding video deeply regretted it.

Further to that 95% of brides who did have a wedding video strongly recommended other brides to have one"
